Nelly Becerra has been one of the pioneers in the History of Mexican Triathlon.

- Only Mexican woman who has qualified 5 times the Ironman World
- Championship in Kona, Hawaii. (1999, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2007)
- She
holds the Mexican Women's Ironman Record, Ironman Florida Panama City
2001, with a time of 10 hrs 04 min, 1st place F35-39 (4th over all).

- 3rd place F35-39, Ironman Canada 2004.
- 1st place F40-44, Dallas Marathon 2005.

- 1st place Masters category, Austin Marathon 2008 with a time of 3

- 2002-2007 Triathlon Coach USAT Expert Level.
