Nelly Becerra has been one of the pioneers in the History of Mexican Triathlon.

  • National Triathlon AG Champion (1998-2005)
  • Only Mexican woman who has qualified 5 times the Ironman World
  • Championship in Kona, Hawaii. (1999, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2007)
  • She holds the Mexican Women's Ironman Record, Ironman Florida Panama City 2001,  with a time of 10 hrs 04 min,  1st place F35-39 (4th over all).
  •  2nd place F35-39, Ironman Austria 2000.
  • 3rd place F35-39, Ironman Canada 2004.
  • 1st place F40-44, Dallas Marathon 2005.
  • 4th place F40-44, Ironman 70.3 World Championship, 2006.
  • Team Triathlon, Elite Team Mark Allen Online 2006
  • 1st place Masters category,  Austin Marathon 2008 with a time of 3
  • hours 5 min.
  • 2002-2007 Triathlon Coach USAT Expert Level.
  • 2003-2007 Certified Trainer of Pose Method for running, level 2.
  • 1999-2007 Certified Coach of Total Immersion Swimming.
  • Nelly Becerra is also a Board member of the Mexican Triathlon Federation since 2000 and a member of ITU Women's committee since 2004.
