Monday, November 30, 16:00 hrs. - Place to be confirmed at the pre-race meeting.

1) 1) Look at the preliminary results after the race at the recovery zone to know if you have qualified to compete at the Ford Ironman World Championship.

2) If yes, you must assist to SLOT ALLOCATION meeting.

3) There you will pay CASH entry fee for the Ford Ironman World Championship slot at the time of qualification. (We will not take credit or debit cards, personal or traveler checks). Be sure to have cash (US dollars or Pesos).

4) Receive the athlete's proof of slot.

5) Follow application instructions attached.


ROLLDOWN PROCEDURE:

1. The athlete must be present at the rolldown meeting, after the awards ceremony, to accept the slot. If the athlete is not present to accept the slot, the slot will be forfeited to another athlete.

2. A slot will "rolldown" to the next person (same gender) in a designated age group if the athlete originally earning the slot is not present or has declined the slot.

3. Slots must be rolled down within the same age group and gender.

4. Should any slot(s) "rolldown" through an entire age group without being claimed, the slot (s) will be assigned to the age group within that gender having the largest number of athletes.

5. Age group slots may not be assigned to pros and pro slots may not be assigned to age groups. NO EXCEPTIONS.

6. If an athlete wins a slot, that slot must be used in the year it is assigned.

7. If an athlete wins a slot, they must pay all world championship entry fees at your qualifying event.

8. If the athlete qualifies for a slot, but must drop from participating, they must contact the race director, in writing, at the event where they qualified within 30 days to let them know they will not be accepting the slot. This slot can be rolled down only during this 30-day period. After 30 days, the athlete must contact the Ironman Race Office, in writing, that they will not be participating in the Ford Ironman World Championship.
